KEYHOLDER RESIDENCY PROGRAM

 

The Lower East Side Printshop, NY offers emerging artists with FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is March 1, 2014 for residencies that begin on April 1, 2014. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monoprint, waterbased silkscreen, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.

I envision a post apocalyptic world where a mash up of humanity and other elements of nature exist. I collect detritus, a large part of the New York City landscape, from one block around my studio and transform it into specimens that teem with life.
