The material I use in creating the ball is recycled newspaper with concrete mixture to form and shape, and then I paint with very high gloss Acrylic enamel paints. The end result is very permanent and durable (I have glued the piece to outside wall to test the sun and the weather, and they still look great after three years), very unique individual surfaces that are touchable, visually colorful, and timeless
