Sculpture constructed of two upside/down caryatids supporting a loaf of bread balanced on an architectural wreath. It explores the connection between the Demeter/Persephone myth and its visual trail over the centuries by inverting accepted conventions. Everything is presented in the same stark whiteness, blending together the tangible and the ineffable, the material and the spiritual.
