This installation consists of a found, cut-out postcard of a cave like formation attached to a prepared gallery wall. Before the card is "hung" the wall is cut away and painted "flat Black". The interior gives the effect of no end, a void, or a black hole.
Nearly all wall interiors have a draft that is effected by the weather outside & the unseen actions of the building (air conditioning, openings to above or below, etc.). Upon close inspection an observer can feel a gentle gust blowing on the face.
