Elizabeth Roman, “The fight never ends”, 2017, Acrylic on canvas, 38cm x 61cm / 24in x 18.1in

I called this painting “The fight never ends”because I was inspired by the different protestmarch that occurred during the last time, through this work I wanted to talk about all these people around the world who stand togetheragainst social injustice with the hope to create amore fair and equitable world. I seek to evokethe lower class for which every day is a challengeand has a dream of justice and equality. I wantedto capture a short but important time “The painting that tells the event raises the questions, the paintingthat offers the chance to develop a critical awareness, speaking through image”.
